4 Must-Have Skills to Boost your Art Career: 3 Tips to Nurture your Curiosity

I have built it through open mindedness as well as curiosity as I am constantly eager to learn and explore new dance styles.

Get ready! We will walk you through a baby’s mind.

As our “4 Must-Have Skills to Boost your Art Career” blog series is coming to an end, we know you are here for that 4th skill not to discover what’s going on inside a baby’s mind! But what if I told you that a baby’s mind is where you can abundantly find it.

We often remind adults to get creative while wokring on their projects but why are babies naturally drawn into it?

Curiosity is the answer!

By definition,

Curiosity is a strong desire to know or learn something.

Doesn’t it seem like the mother of all skills?

Then, let’s go mimic babies and kids to nurture our curiosity and acquire one of the most important lifelong learning skills.

1- Questionning:

A mom’s order not to step by that place is not enough of a reason not to, as babies and kiddos need to answer the WHY behind that order: Their actions are mainly driven by answering daily WHYs; the more they do, the more they grow their knowledge, till becoming adults and asking fewer questions.

Imitating babies should then start by answering more Qs and ask plenty of them through the daily observations we make.

Questionning will lead you to explore some hidden life corners, allowing you to grow as a human and artist.

2- Widen your Knowledge:

“Read more, learn more, change the globe!” Nas-I Can

In today’s world, limitless ways exist to learn new things, anywhere at anytime. And that’s a blessing: Endless information is available online and offline. You just have to set learning goals and a frequency, then watch your life change!

3- Experience More Firsts:

First cry, laugh, meal and first steps… a baby’s life is all about Firsts.

And that’s what makes it an exciting one.

Artists should always experience more Firsts as it is an effective way to enhance one’s creativity and be more innovative.
